MUMBAI: Area Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Indian Revenue Service Officer Sameer Wankhede, investigating the seizure of narcotics on a cruise ship that led to the arrest of the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan , Aryan, filed a complaint with the state police and the Union government on Monday. , claiming someone was harassing him.
Sources said Wankhede complained that he learned from sources that someone had been regularly following him including a kabristan in the western suburbs, who visits to pray at his mother's grave. Wankhede's mother passed away in 2015 and since then she has been visiting kabristan regularly.
He said that two people, accompanied by two Oshiwara police officers, even took CCTV footage of his visit to the cemetery. He presented evidence to support his claim, the sources said. Wankhede also sought police protection for himself and his family.
Wankhede declined to comment. NCP spokesman and skills development minister Nawab Malik had questioned the cruise ship's contraband seizure, saying it was a bogus operation.
